Machine builders fit a seat to every unit they ship. Distributors stock replacement seats for many installed machines. Both start from the same published data: mounting-hole dimensions, weight range, slide travel and suspension travel.
KL Seating is operated by Nanchang Qinglin Seat Manufacturing Co., Ltd, with 180+ employees; 60% hold a college degree or higher.
OEM and ODM customers
They build forklifts, excavators, loaders, rollers, tractors, harvesters, seeders, sprayers or lawn mowers. The seat is a component they specify, test on their own machine and then buy in volume.
Importers and wholesalers
They carry replacement seats for installed machines, so the question is which model covers which mounting pattern, weight range and suspension travel, and which accessories go with it. The parameter table below gives a first match.
KL01, KL11, YL01, YY01, YY03 and YY53 cover the weight bands forklift builders specify. KL01 is the reference model.
Three weight bands cover most forklift specifications: 40–120 kg on YY03 and YY53, 50–120 kg on YY01 and 50–130 kg on KL01 and KL11. KL01 ships in a 60 × 52 × 42 cm carton. Armrests, headrests, seat belts and slide rails are specified per model, and YL01 completes the family.

Five models from fixed-travel mechanical suspension to wide-range suspension for excavators, loaders and rollers.
Fore-aft adjustment separates the models fastest: YL02 moves 190 mm in 10 mm steps, YS15 moves 176 mm in 16 mm steps and YQ40 moves 230 mm across 23 positions. YS2-8 and YS15 offer 40 to 110 mm of travel, so one seat family can be set up for different machines and ground on the excavator, loader and roller side. YQ50 sits beside YQ40 in the heavy-machinery family.

Travel sets how much movement the seat absorbs between machine floor and operator. It matters most on long shifts over uneven ground, so the range is split by machine family.

YL02 is the mechanical suspension model and YJ03 is the air bag model. The choice follows the machine and the buyer's own specification, so both stay in the range.
Shock absorber mechanical analysis is one of the test items, run on in-house equipment. CAE structural analysis covers the seat structure at the design stage.

Decides whether the seat bolts onto the base already on the machine. Published as 285 / 330 mm, 230 / 328 mm or 230 / 285 / 330 mm by model, so measure the current seat's holes before anything else.
Decides whether the operator can set the suspension correctly. Forklift models span 40 to 130 kg in three published bands, and the weight range of the real operators decides which band applies.
Decides whether short and tall operators both reach pedals and controls. Published values run from 150 mm on YY03 to 190 mm on YL02, so a machine with a long reach to the pedals needs the upper end.
Decides how the operator sits over a full shift. From 15–130° on KL01 to 35–170° on YJ03, with 70–115° on YY53 and 80–121° on YQ40 in between.

Together the four cover the seat from structure to comfort to suspension, and they sit beside an independent R&D center that designs the seats. The 30+ test items are spread across the 20+ devices; these four are the ones that most often decide a design.
An independent R&D center designs the seats and handles design changes for OEM and ODM work. It works alongside the testing center: structure is checked by simulation first, then the built seat is measured. 12% of staff are in the technical team.
Design changes start from the standard model, so the tested structure carries over and only the changed part is re-checked.

The factory runs on MES, PLM, WMS and ERP. MES covers research and development, purchasing, production, quality inspection, warehousing and delivery, so every stage of a seat is recorded in one system and a buyer's order stays traceable from design to shipment.
Foam molding, stamping and welding under one roof keep cushion, frame and cover on one schedule, so a custom option does not wait on an outside shop.

Own brand or standard models
Build to a specification goes through OEM and ODM. Carry the range under a distributor's own brand goes through private label. Stock standard models goes through wholesale. The factory, the testing and the parameter tables are the same on all three.
ISO 9001:2015 covers the quality management system. CE, RoHS and REACH sit on top of it.
For a machine manufacturer, a certified quality system is the supplier-approval checkbox. For a distributor importing into Europe, CE, RoHS and REACH are the documents customs and end customers ask for. The company keeps nine certificate and honor scans on file; three are shown here.

Export share by region. Nanchang Qinglin Seat Manufacturing Co., Ltd has produced seats since 2007 and sells under its own KL Seating brand since 2016.
Asia takes half of the export volume. The Americas follow at 30%, and Europe and other regions take 10% each. Distributors and machine builders in all four regions work from the same parameter tables, so a fit check done for one market holds for another.
